Section 137
<br> to mention the purpose while fixing the date
When the court appoints a date, the reason and purpose for which the date is appointed and the work to be performed on the day of such appointment shall be mentioned in the date sheet and date book.
(2) According to sub-section (1) on the date specified, the court shall perform the work specified for that purpose.
(3) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (2), if due to reasonable reasons, the scheduled work cannot be completed on the specified date, or if the work cannot be completed due to time constraints, the court shall fix the date and set another date.
(4) The date book and date sheet shall be kept in the format as per Schedule-10 and Schedule-11 respectively.
